If you have just bought a Surface this weekend then you’ll have the traditional desktop version of the application installed but the MX version is for the new interface. If you are using Windows Phone then you might already be a avid user of this uber-notetaking app. Here are some of the apps you shouldn’t be without in on your new machine, they are simply essential.

I haven't contacted Toshiba, but that is my next move. I use the video apps quite a bit, so it would be great to get some help on this.
If I have to, I will uninstall the updated Windows completely because the biggest change I've noticed is the start button and I already have one on my keyboard.

I did not install any components before installing Windows 8.1 because I did not notice the alert message. The latest Toshiba components for your computer can also be found at After updating to Windows 8.1 you should run the Toshiba Service Station again to check for and download any additional components. If you are planning on updating your current Windows version to Windows 8.1 you will need to download and "Toshiba will be releasing updated components via the Toshiba Service Station starting with the Octorelease of Windows 8.1 by Microsoft. Upon checking the Toshiba Service Station, there are not any more software updates for me to download and install. I am still able to run video from the Hulu website. I check for updates from Windows, there aren't any. When I try to run the app, it tries to load the videos and the last thing I see is 99%, it freezes for a couple seconds and then it just closes down and goes back to my Start screen.Įrror Code: PB4-88890001. When I try to run Netflix from the website: I have tried disabling sound enhancements as per a suggestion for another poor soul with video issues. Intel HD Graphics 4000 - It is updated, I checked. I am running Windows 8.1 on a Toshiba Kirabook i5 Touch. I was able to run videos from the Hulu site just fine, however my Hulu app froze up a little too often, so I didn't use it very often.
Prior to the Windows 8.1 update, I was able to run the Netflix app and website without a problem.
